Vegan beer battered Fish recipe
Today we are making vegan fried fish ,
1 block of extra firm tofu
1 cup of flour
1 cup of beer
2 tsp of seasoning salt
1 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of old bay
1 package of sushi sheets
First remove the tofu from the packaging and pat It dry with paper towels. Next place the tofu the long way and cut it into 1/3 slices . Next cut those third slices in half diagonally. Then take your lemon and squeezed some lemon juice over the tofu . Next you need to cut the sushi sheets to fit on the back side of the tofu. Then sit the tofu to the side and grab the dry ingredients and the cup of beer. Combine the seasoning and flour together . Next add the beer and mix this combinations. ( It should look similar to pancake batter ). Next take your tofu and dip it into the batter.
With your pan on med-high heat place the tofu in the cooking oil and allow to cook for 3 to 5 mins a side . Then remove from the oil. drain it on a paper towel and then enjoy it.!!!!
